- POLICE STRENGTH FORMULATION - The Club® Pepper Spray's police strength formulation uses top quality Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) with a high heat factor. OC is a resin extracted from hot peppers that is available in many strengths. A Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) rates the potency and heat of the OC. Most pepper sprays have a 1MM or 1.5MM SHU rating, while The Club® Pepper Spray™ has a powerful 2MM SHU rating.
- EFFECTIVE - Upon contact with the mucous membranes (eyes, nose, throat, and lungs), The Club® Pepper Spray™ quickly dilates capillaries of eyes causing temporary blindness and inflames the breathing tissues causing choking, coughing, nausea and extreme discomfort, disabling your attacker for up to 30-45 minutes, including those under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Effective up to 15 feet in a concentrated area, reducing the risk of contamination to persons outside the intended strike area. Unlike a fog or foam formula, only the attacker is enveloped in the stream.
